I am excited to have been invited by FoodService Director Magazine to participate in a moderated panel discussion at Techomic’s Foodservice Planning Program Conference in Newport Beach on January 10th. Representing the senior living dining profession before an audience of sales, marketing and customer insights teams from the top 100 foodservice manufacturers, I look forward to speaking alongside my distinguished colleagues from USC, UCLA Medical Center and San Dieguito High School. Together, as seasoned practitioners, we will present our expert opinions on purchasing practices, menu development and other future trends in noncommercial dining services.
With more than 20 years of experience as a food and beverage director and executive chef in Southern California, my experience spreads across hotels, restaurants, independent living, assisted living, memory care and hospitals. I have operated large Kosher kitchens and I have also owned and operated my own catering company. In 2016 I joined Watermark Retirement Communities as Dining Services Director for The Watermark at Beverly Hills, a boutique assisted living community in the heart of Beverly Hills.
